No shocking result in a game when fourth rankedPuerto Plata (4-5) beat at home 6th ranked Bonao (2-6) 70-65 on Saturday. Puerto Plata dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Bonao 's 32. Puerto Plata looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Bonao 's players. Forward Rich Polanco (203-1997, college: S.Dakota) notched a triple-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the effort and Ricardo Almonte supported him with 20 points. Puerto Plata's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds by did not help to save the game for Bonao . Franklin Sabater added 20 points and 5 assists. Five Puerto Plata and four Bonao players scored in double figures. Puerto Plata moved-up to third place, which they share with LDC Ignite. Loser Bonao dropped to the fifth position with six games lost.
